Finding a new catchy tune gives me really quite a lot of kicks. I easily change record, record store, whatsoever, to find more. More something.. Music is to me the world I just love to explore. I know very little about making music, aren't that strict when selecting what to listen, and more have feeling than really knowledge why something is just so good.

I have moved from western pop music, styles of late 70's and 80's to more open and experimenting direction. At late 90's I found African music, then Arabic, Asia, some blending like Bhangra, and from that way to me opened huge hidden treasure of musical traditions and I started my journey to find fusions that move and surprise me.

I buy most of my records as used ones. This is why I have such a strange selection of them. Flea markets are great places to get something you have never heard about - where I would otherwise get Norwegian Whistling virtuoso Leo Eide to mention one example?

There needs also to be places where to go to get just what you want, and where styles and artists of various countries are given value. One of the best record shop I know is Digelius Music at Helsinki. It's place where I know I can get world music when I am in need of it. And yes, Emu, owner of the place, is also really nice guy.
